How pagan/athiest are you at Easter?

Admittedly the timing of this Easter is a little bit after the equinox where the days get longer than nights.

Are you thinking Eostre and blessed be?

Or are you more a bunny that’s been ticking into the eggs since February?

Or are you just here to say you want nailed?

Do you have a don’t be cross gag?

or wouldn’t mind a three day bender where you reappear on the Monday?

I’ll leave true meaning of Easter annd Christian worship for others.

I'm as atheist about overpriced and over packaged cheap chocolate as I am about overpriced glittery Christmas gifts...

I don't celebrate easter i don't eat chocolate eggs, i do love the time off work though but then I'd love that if it wasn't easter, its a bit like councils painting yellow lines on the road so they can fine you for parking on them, if you don't believe in it it can't harm you

I don’t consider myself an atheist because it suggests a conscious decision has been made not to believe in the supernatural. A sort of alternative belief system when in fact non belief is just the default position until someone convinces people to believe in what they believe. Religion and belief has never meant anything to me. My parents never went to church bar weddings and funerals and nor did I. Easter just means time of work like any secular holiday.

I respect and acknowledge whatever values others hold about Easter, because there might be a deep-rooted meaning or spirituality.

For me, it's just time to unwind and look forward to the extended public holidays.

I'll scoff most chocolate but don't eat animal rabbit, whatever the time of year. I'll pass over stuff if I'm feeling a bit queezy. No magical superstition and I'm not buying a $60 Trump bible either.

I've not celebrated Easter since I was little. I will however partake in a three day weekend and munch Easter eggs.

Also Easter egg chocolate tastes better than chocolate in bar form. I don't know why.

Converted atheist here.

I enjoy the traditions and cultural aspect of things like Easter but, the religious side leaves me less than cold.

I have some degree of respect for pagans at Easter and Christmas because, at least its actually their festival, rather than an appropriated version concocted to bring pagans into the Christian fold but, worshipping a god or gods seems utterly ridiculous to me.
