I'm also a Metal fan and Alternative Rock. Probably Slipknot, Queens of the Stone Age, Iron Maiden, Sepultura... Weezer's Blue album used to be a favourite for tidying. Had it on a cassette with Teenage Fanclub on the other side so would play both sides. |

I’ve trained myself inadvertently to do all my housework to horrible histories
I used to put the songs on for my kids when they were little while I got on with the housework
Now if I hear them I start cleaning  |

For chores it's Northern Soul and Motown or a mixture of pop and indie.
So you're singing along to something like The Snake by Al Wilson or Ain't No Mountain High Enough by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell. Or Britney and S Club 7 😍😂 |
