* Christmas Mental Health Check-in *
So I had my traditional annual watch of this Christmas Classic thismorning and it hit harder than most years following a year of my own I'd sooner forget, having dealt with loss and MH challenges of my own...
With that in mind, and couple of other threads that alude to how difficult this time of year can become, I remind you of the message Clarence the Angel leaves for George in his copy of Tom Sawyer;
"Remember, no man is a failure who has friends."
If you are having tough times, don't go though it alone, don't bottle it up; speak to someone, anyone; a professional or a friend. Just Talk.
promise me... 🙏 |

I had my last counselling session online whilst out here on holiday.
It's been a horrible year. My MH has been precarious and remains so. Just because I'm enjoying being away and doing stuff again doesn't mean I'm mended.
I can't abide the idea of any further physical decline. I don't want to even think about my PIP application but it needs doing when I get home.
Too much to think about so I'm generally opting for not thinking about anything.
Will go to the hotel gym later and thrash out some frustration. |

It's important to remember that this time of year isn't great for many people.
I think lots of people will be trying just to get through it in their own way.
I've had a challenging year, my mental health has taken a battering, all I can do is keep moving forward. |
