Seen a few people in the updates asking or saying they are in different areas for a meet but showing in their area, so they are miles away from where they want to meet. Did you know if you go into account then my details then change the postcode to the area you are visiting/meeting in, you will see all the people who have put an update in that area and they will see yours. Might make it easier to get a meet in the area you are looking in. Hope that makes sense.  |

I always find it hilarious when people post for meets in the Isle Of Man, but say things like they are actually in london visiting there.
the number of people not knowing that the Island is a real place is nearly as shocking as google changing the gulf of mexico to the gulf of america. when it has been mexico for longer than america has been a country.
but then they did allow donald trump to be president the first time, never mind the second time  |

I do this regularly. Bath where I live doesn't really have much going on with local updates. So I'll change it to Bristol or Swindon to see what's going on, as I'm there often. |

I'm in the borders and it's pretty quiet so I often change to Edinburgh or Newcastle as that's not far from me l. I would also perhaps change in advance if I knew I was going to a certain area to maybe strike up some conversations etc |

This thread has just reminded me I need to search Glasgow as I'll be up there in a couple of weeks time |

I was in a hotel one time and changed it to the location. Just my luck got two offers but couldn't meet due to staying with people. But it's a good way of seeing who's close when you are not local to home. |
