Consider what ypu may lose. I've relocated many times, each time an adventure and gives a good perspective on life. I will be moving again at some point and that will likely be my last.

There you have it.
Newcastle? Kind of half way, never lived there but visited lots. Not too far from the coast. |

its up to you but you will get snow up there more than down here depending on where you go.
A genuine ? here though
would you move to the countryside and do the same job for the same pay in a local place instead. |

I'm likely to go to the northern Lake District in a couple of years mainly to reinvest money up there rather than London. I worry about the weather and it being somewhat of a cultural void though :/
I loved living in Yorkshire - great mix of wonderful cities and beautiful countryside and coast. Plus a very accessible county. |

Scotland, only ever been twice, but thought it breath taking, opposite end of the country from Devon. But it's sooo boring here and is becoming very crowded and very untidy |

Personally if I could and could match my salary where I am, it would have to be Cornwall.
By the sea down there would be heaven for me!
I’ve recently relocated to Birmingham for work, they’re getting my an apartment so it’s win win, commute back to Yorkshire at the weekend |

I visit Inverness fairly regularly and I would say it's the only place in the whole of the UK that feels like a spiritual home for absolutely no reason. I absolutely love it there, and it pulls me in everytime.
It's just miles from anywhere. |

I came from South Yorkshire originally, and I've lived in the corner of Cheshire up against Manchester for the last 40 years. If I moved again it would probably be in the general area of Yorkshire, possibly towards the dales, but somewhere with good communication and definitely not that far from civilization. I'm reaching the age where I want to be able to get medical treatment easily enough if and when I need it!
I think though that I would only move in order to be with someone special. That does seem to be a possible now, much more than it did even 3 months ago. Only time will tell... |

Blackpool, we have 3 clubs so the scene is always busy, an within 15/20 mins yoh can have busy town with all amenities, cheap houses for sale, selection of small quiet villages or reclusive rural hideaways. Depends what your priorities are i suppose |

Semi retired and have lived and worked globally.
My plan is to buy a proper 4x4 camper and spend at least part of the year exploring all the beautiful places in the UK.
Then head to France, Spain and Portugal for the winter months.
I would still hold onto my place here but I am nomadic so would not spend long at home.
Now any nice female co-drivers want to go wandering for a while? |

To be honest, I’d probably only move an hour or so East.
Currently on the coast in South West Wales which obviously has its advantages, but I’d rather be located a bit nearer to a major city than I am now |

"I’ve always loved the scenic splendour of Cornwall 😃"
Cannot denied you the splendour of it coastline but go inland to the likes of Camborne or Redruth, sad shadows of their former selves just like any other run down town in any county |

We've lived in Staffordshire, Shropshire and Essex. Early retired at 50 and moved to Oulton Broad, near Lowestoft. Reasonable house prices, good weather, close to the beaches and the Suffolk/Norfolk broads rivers. People are lovely .Loads of great pubs. Been here a few years, love it, won't be moving again. |

I’ve lived in many places and , I’ve learned that there are beautiful places wherever you are, and call home and besides it’s a small island so nothing is too far away really ,
But my ideal place is a island somewhere with no people just some dogs it’s people that spoil locations |

I’ve thought about this a lot. I’m where I am because of the people , but I would love to live in either the Peak District or somewhere along the north east coast Yorkshire or Northumberland, but I think I would feel a bit lonely and isolated without my family and friends.
If I was gonna move into a city, there are loads of good ones to choose from probably Newcastle or Leeds. I’ve lived down south before I found it boring and expensive. |
