I like the album crazy nights a lot, (I think bruce kulick gave a degree of sophistication to music)..I also really liked eric carr. |

Some of the 80's videos truly terrible, the directors were always trying to make them abstract yet meaningful usually involving some really poor acting by band members.
Rick Astley never gonna give you up, some very questionable outfits and dancing.

It looks like it was done in 10 mins cos it WAS done in 10 mins! If that even! Haha!
For anyone not aware they did it for Live Aid just so there was something to show between the bands. It proved so popular it was released as a single and of course went to #1 with all proceeds to Band Aid.
Sure its a totally crap vid, they knew that, but it was all done for fun and free after all! |

Ok the actual video is very well made with excellent photography, lighting etc...
But the story is just, well, wrong!
It portrays the narrative in a way that completerly contradicts the song's lyrics, leaving viewers confused about the protagonist's possible guilt or innocence. I've even heard of some believing the video implies the lead character is the murderer when really Marx's lyrics strongly suggest he would never harm his true love.
Great song, great story-telling lyrics. Shit video. |

So I just watched this ..and was absolutely mesmerised by it...
I know what you mean...it's that fine line of hideous and genius..
I do like the music...has a minimalist experimental feel...but catchy. Kind of reminds me of Gotye's style of music. (that guy that did 'somebody that i used to know')

I can't lie, I feel the same about Thick of It. But only the song. It's kinda catchy; reminds me of an Avicii song from 2013-2016. Jake Paul's song is hot garbage though. Some of the rhymes are atrocious! |
