Thread for forumites to give a little explanation for the profile name they are using. Sometimes it's pretty obvious, but sometimes it's obscure and would need an degree in ancient languages to understand.
In my case, I openly use Polly as my day to day name, and I tend to be quite colourful. It used to be my rainbow wigs, but since my hair has grown out that's usually only a single tone (currently a pale blue as the "lasts 10 washes" temporary colour that I put in at Christmas is proving impossible to shift 🤣🤣🤣). My dress styling has always been quite polychromatic though!

It was DoubleSwing because it's the first thing that came to my head, I hated it right away. I changed it to what we have now because it was bugging me enough that it HAD to go. Maybe we'll come up with something more creative, Idk. |

I couldn't think of anything decent when I quickly joined up years ago. I'm a bit kinky and I'm very curvy so 🤷🏻♀️
I didn't realise I'd end up staying on here as long as I have, and as much as I don't really like my username now I use it for events and clubs and many people know me by that username so I've stuck with it. |

JulieAndBeef came about as they're characters in a little known sitcom. Anyone who recognised it would be 'our people' off the bat.
Someone used Julie Scrumptious on a veri on our couple's account and I really liked the play on words so it was a no brainer when I started my solo account. 😁 |

UGH.
I didn't realise people weren't aware of a very common caption on social media is 'felt cute might delete later' usually for selfies where you're feeling good in the moment but that might wear off and general self loathing might make you delete it later. It's a thing.

I was The Lotlessmonster a few years ago but two female Norwegian colleagues didn’t get the wordplay and decided it didn’t sound very friendly or the remotest bit sexy.
I think Fab was on The Silver Fox1385 by then so they came up with The Silver Fux. Hoots of laughter at their witty satiric misspelling and malapropism. We were all quite pissed at the time (£12 for a small glass of wine FFS. Thank goodness for company expenses). |

We are both very active, hence the Sporty part of our name, and we also enjoy the occasional naughtiness that Fab brings to us, hence the Naughty part of our name.

Mine originally was Black Midnight I think, linked to my hair colour which was blue-black and sparkled like the galaxy. I can't remember where the midnight bit came in - maybe it was the name of the hair dye 🤣🤣
I attracted a fairly frightening stalker in my early days and in an attempt to shake them I've been through a series of names, but I love being midnight and have finally returned to it

Mine was originally BoulderingBear as I climb and am a larger fellow, I also used it on the Fetish site but was advised a more serious make might bet me taken more seriously and have better luck especially for finding a sub.i went with an incredibly obscure villain with a sophisticated sounding name and the advice had turned out to be true.
Have a flogging session with the sub later this week.

Mine has no story really. I was setting up an account whilst rabbit sitting and Zuri was its name. Shortly after it took a chunk out of my havianas and i had to chuck them.
Twat.
The number I can't recall, I just imputed anything as I thought it would be an account I'd have for a day or so, so it didn't really matter. |

I have tattoos and I’m a Dominant (if that is what someone wants), same name that I use on the kink scene. Though I have been told by people on the swing and kink scene that I should change it to Santa. |

I like the closeness of praying to and being prey to something.
It's also a lyric from an ugly song about body image and conforming to nonconformity that sang to me around the time I needed a name for something many years ago.
And since finding the song Rev 22:20 by Puscifer almost feels like my theme song with it's lyrics and this name, I've not wanted to move back to another 💜 |

My previous profile was named after a TV show I was watching but I hadn't been online for over a year. I logged in and deleted that one despite it having 30-40 verifications and decided to start with a clean slate.
I set up this profile and thought about using the name of another TV show but the term reality bites appeared in the last paragraph of a book I was reading at the time and I thought it would be very apt.
It was only a long time later that I discovered it was also the name of a movie but that has no significance. |
