"I also *love* the use of music in Kill Bill. Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood by Santa Esmerelda during the fight with O-Ren Ishii was chef's kiss! "
Grrrr, that's what happens when you let your phone add capitals after you've already typed. 😂 |

"Me and Julio Down By The Schoolyard in The Royal Tenenbaums."
All Wes Anderson's films have amazing soundtracks. Queen Bitch - David Bowie at the end of The Life Aquatic was perfect. |

Gun did a version of Cameo’s Word zip, it was used in the opening heaven’s of Pammy’s Barb Wire. Crap film but that scene was good if only for the song.
Otherwise, in the original Road House, Blues Rocker Jeff Healey was the act in the bar. That was pretty good too. |

Goodbye Horses by Q Lazarus in silence of the lambs... You have to understand the meaning of the Song to the moment where Buffalo Bill is getting dressed up... Amazing detail, that most won't get.😁 |

"The Times They Are A-Changin' - Bob Dylan
The Watchmen "
That would have been one of my choices as it exactly fits the timeline and mood the film conveys in the opening sequence.
Sound of Silence is also used well in that film.

In team America I don’t know the name but the lyrics are
“ America
Fuck yeah
Coming through to save the motherfucking day yeah “
As whatever country/city/town get blown up and flattened around them.

The whole sountrack to 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' is a perfect accompaniment to such an amazing film. 'Far Away' by Junip, as he longboards down an Icelandic valley, and Bowies 'Space Oddity' in the pivotal scene where he jumps into the helicopter; both gave me goosebumps. |

"After The Flesh by My Life With The Thrill Kill Cult, used in The Crow, where Eric goes batshit crazy on the room full of bad guys.
To be fair, the whole soundtrack is amazing xx"
Yep, it really is. |

The montage sequence of learning to dance in ‘Footloose’ with ‘Lets Hear it for the Boy’ by Deniece Williams.
I was so surprised actual music video for song wasn’t that sequence from the film as it fits far better. |

"Tiny Dancer in Almost Famous, great scene and relaunched one of Elton's best tunes.
Mona Lisas & Mad Hatters & Feel Flows from Almost Famous. "
Almost Famous is one of my favourites. Got the extended bluray edition. So many iconic moments. When they're all singing "the cover of the rolling stone". |
