About 6 months before my mum died we were attending a drag act event at her sheltered accommodation. I had the opportunity in conversation to thank her personally for all the wonderful things I'd inherited from her.
Good looks, nice figure, playful, warm and sociable personality and my happy upbringing. Brought her to tears but it was a special moment I feel happy to have shared with her |

I was too afraid to have this conversation with my mum at the end. I felt if I did, it meant she was dying and I couldnt face that. I always regretted that tbh. |

That's sad to read. Hopefully she knew you felt that way anyway, without having to say the words x |

Hi pixie,😊
I bet you made your mum's day,❤️
You certainly are those things and more, you were like a little ray of sunshine sprinkling that pixie dust where ever you went at the festival last year,🌞😁
Looking forward to round two, |

"Looks for me.
Without a beard, i look like my mum when she was young.
"
cheekbones, nose, mouth.
Nipples, bum, hips, thighs and feet.
Voice, travel bug, determination, bargain hunting, hoarding. Lol!

A battered 1960s Snoopy watch that's one of my most prized possessions.
But to answer the ACTUAL question; Definitely looks, albeit indirectly- photos of my grandad and my uncle (Mom's brother, obvs) when they were young look almost exactly like me.
Also, it turns out she was rather... "adventurous" when she was younger, which looks like it re-emerged when we kids grew up as she developed a fondness for flashing her boobs if she'd been drinking and somebody pointed a camera at her. 🤦♂️ So I suspect I inherited my inclination to end up here on Fab, too! |

I posted on this thread before I read the existing replies. There's a lot of very sweet sentiments here, but by God there's also a lot of unresolved trauma too. 😶
I hope you all manage to work through your troubles and find some peace. 🖤 |
