We often dont count our blessings very much, we dont necessarily think that we are well off in lots of different ways, like with our friends and family and things that we possess.
I think that it is important to be grateful to have gratitude to look at ones life and at times think "thank goodness for that, thank goodness that I am here, thank goodness we are alive, thank goodness we have got our family and our friends and life" you can say the same thing with the weather, it is getting colder, thank goodness we had it nice and warm.
There was also a study on gratitude and it showed that showing gratitude is important. the study shows that regularly expressing gratitude can lead to increased happiness, reduced stress, and improved relationships.
What is your view about it, is it important to show gratitude, do we show enough gratitude, do you show i and for what? I am grateful for things like, family, friends, good health and healthy food too |

I generally don’t go around saying or thinking thank goodness for this that & the other, a life has taught me in any moment those things can quickly be taken away ….but I will show gratitude to friends and use the things very wisely I’ve been given like good finances, health etc |

I think it's important it's easy to get bogged down with daily stresses of life and time to reflect on what you have is a great thing.
I have an amazing husband, two beautiful children, a roof over my head in a beautiful location and a peaceful life.

Not grateful for people, fuck them, useless cunts.
But a I’m grateful for a roof over my head, clean running water, sanitation, and being lucky enough to be born in a country where luxuries are normalised. |

Love this attitude and yes I am grateful for what I have even though materially it’s not a lot. I have great kids, family, friends and a job I love that is a challenge and fulfilling plus I have an amazing sex life and through swinging have met the most wonderful partner |

I know I'm lucky . I know I have a nice life .it's not a charmed life, It's hard ,and I'm always working hard to make it what I want it to to be .
So yes, I'm grateful and I do count my blessings, however I also do acknowledge it's hard and it doesn't dismiss the struggles . |

Yes absolutely. A few years ago things got pretty tough and I needed to start 'looking for the good' and retraining my brain. It improved my mindset significantly and I am forever grateful for both the little things and the big 😅 |

"I thank God every morning that he made me better than everyone else. 🥪
Oh that's who we have to blame. Though I'm thinking it's more the devils work. "
I like to embrace both sides just in case 🥪 |

If a shop employee goes above and beyond what I expect them to do, I do go and have a chat to the Manager and tell them what happened. I do thank the person as well, after it heppened, I just don't tell them I will be chatting to the Manager. |

I often read about gratitude, gratitude journals, showing gratitude etc. Who am I to be grateful to?
I suspect it's god but many people who claim to be non believers are keen on the practice of expressing gratitude so I suspect it's an alternative to faith.
I'm glad about many my comfortable life, that I'm retired, I have good food etc etc. but I don't think I'm grateful more appreciative. Grateful to me suggests there's another person or power responsible for these things and if there is why doesn't everyone have these things? |

I don't think I ever thank goodness or thank gods unless sarcastically.
I do thank people. When someone does something nice for me I say thank you. When someone chooses to spend their time with me I appreciate that. I make sure to express gratitude to the people I am grateful to 💜 |

Without being too philosophical, I always show gratitude and humility. It it just part of having good manners.
If you are think more about life in general then I am thankful for where I am. As a wide world out there, we could be in a different situation altogether. |
