I've noticed swinging/nudism are treated as v different activities in general. And they are v different, to be fair.
But do people really go to nudist environments, see all that flesh, and not get turned on at all by it? |

To answer the OP though? Yep. I've been to many a beach, topless or nudist and not gotten turned on, because I'm there to switch off, relax and the lack of clothing is just for convenience rather than anything sexual.

Nudism is what got us into swinging.
All started many years ago on a beach in Spain, I found it a turn on watching people looking at the wife who was topless on the beach.
Then found this site, posted a few pictures of her on here n then eventually started meeting others. |

Erm... Have you actually been to a fully blown naturist club? Me and my partner, we used to be members of one not far from me. Most people there were pensioners as they have a lot of time on their hands. Not a lot really to get turned on about. |

The thing is. From what I understand from nudism etc is people don’t see it as sexual and they’re into all the nature stuff so they probably don’t get turned on by it all. Me, however, there’s not a chance a bunch of sexy naked women playing volleyball wouldn’t turn me on 🤣 |

My understanding about nudism is that it’s all about desexualising the naked body. Sexual contact or approaches aren’t allowed at most nudist events.

Nudity / naturism is about freedom and relaxation, for some its a stepping stone to swinging.
People do check out other people but more discretely than you would on a textile beach.
Erections do happen, but once covered up and not in public its not an issue generally. |

If they are my type, yes, I would get turned on seeing them at a nudist beach or something. But if it’s just anyone naked, no, that's not a turn on.

I dont get turned on by looking at other naked bodies around me.

Just nudism alone no, but if someone is naked and in a suggestive pose or acting suggestively, yes I can become aroused. But I have will power and am a grown adult, so I can control myself and not act on it. Some people don't seem to understand that.

This idea seems to be missing the fact that we get turned on by people who are fully dressed.
Think about it..... a man I find very unattractive is not suddenly going to be fanciable just because he's got his kit off .... probably the opposite |
