What is the point of the "swipe" threads?

The point of the swipe threads is manifold.......
It allows someone to start a thread.
It allows those with fuck all to say to respond to a thread.
It allows someone to cling onto the hope that the woman they said something nice about might get in touch with them.
It feeds the desperate individual who lives only through the affirmations they receive from this site.
It allows the highly academic and intellectual to enter a world of gay abandon via meaningless choices thereby preventing a mental breakdown and a full enactment of Reggie Perrin's desperate attempt to leave life behind and begin anew.
It allows those with very little time to make a contribution to the forum and thereby believe they are a useful member of the forum and are almost solely responsible for keeping the love alive....
I fucking hate the swipe type threads but I realise I have better causes to give my time to like - litter tutting and tea bag comparisons , not to mention incorrect weather forecasts... |
