The realisation that tiramisu iced lattes exist!
Having a couple of decent guys in my phone (and occasionally my vagina)
Just enjoying the little things really, when you have crap raining down on you 24/7 you sometimes miss the little things. Did I mention the tiramisu iced lattes? |

A cat walked me from the flats to my car at the weekend, chirruping the entire way. It was absolutely lovely and made me feel like they'd chosen me because they could tell I was a good person.
In truth it's probably that I needed a shower and smelled vaguely fishy, but nevertheless it made me smile. |

● The sunshine, warmer weather, and longer evenings automatically make me a happier (and nicer) person
● Long chats with a handsome fella and the prospect of a date in the near future
● But the most meaningful one... receiving flowers from my beautiful mama. It made cry and smile at the same time. She apologised for having had a stroke and now being a burdon on everyone (she def isn't); and then thanked me for inviting her to spend the day at my house, so she could have a break from my father, and allow her to feel normal again. Broke my heart watching her struggle to say all that 😢 but it also makes me smile seeing her determination to overcome what is a really frustrating time for her ❤️ |

There's a kid with down syndrome who come in to my work a few weeks back. I spoke with him and yesterday he come back in and run up to me and gave me a hug. He come in today again and shook my hand and showed me his Grinch jumper. A great kid. |

The things making me smile:
Yesterday I met with a friend I haven’t seen in person for a while for lunch and we sat in the sunshine to catch up.
This morning a different friend just popped in and we’ve had a good catch up in the garden.
The blue skies, singing birds and sundresses without underwear. To put the smile cherry on the cake all I need now is a drive out somewhere nice with a picnic. |

Interviewing someone for a job in my team - second time advertising so can’t help feeling a bit antsy. And the interview was bloody marvellous. The candidate is a definite possible and would be a good fit for the team. Two more to go so no decisions but it’s good to know we have someone great over the line, whatever else happens.
