Does alcohol in pictures put you off the profile?

Yes, definitely it would put me off. I would not meet anyone with alcohol in their picture. I would that as a sign alcohol is important to them and they may drink before a meet . Alcohol and sex with strangers don't mix.. |

It's all about the backdrop and juxtapositions I suppose. If the image depicts empty cans of lager strewn about the room it would make me think twice. However if it's a few cans of beer standing to attention with a view of the sunny estuary and blue sky in the background then I would think thrice.
Thankfully the women and sirens I meet don't drink beer/lager. Or if they do they certainly hide it well...those dipsomaniac wenches. |

So if I were to take a picture in our beautiful lounge sitting on my leather armchair in front of the fireplace a bottle of £3000 Macallan Whiskey on show whilst sipping a wee dram from a very expensive crystal tumbler 🥃
That would put people off?
Or sitting on a beach at a very expensive resort drinking a cocktail?

"Context is all...a social picture with a cocktail? Nice
Anything that looks like uncontrolled alcohol use...not for me
There are far more off putting things I've seen in photos though "
Agreed. Context is key. |

"I know it's probably not an easy answer, maybe a pic with someone holding a pint or a cocktail on a night out isn't too bad. Maybe cans on a table is
What's your thoughts"
I don't drink so yes alcohol in any of it's form would put me off |

Yes, a huge no thank you to both of the ostentatious scenes you describe and also to the alco-pics the OP mentioned.
They're all unattractive and turn-offs to me. |

I'm not sure a simple drink in a photo would put me off but if the vibe of the photo was that as person was a heavy drinker I'd probably assume we weren't a match.
I wouldn't be particularly critical of it. I just don't go to pubs and drink pints to socialise. |

A glass of wine while they’re having a meal, a single cocktail, a tasteful evening whisky photo …. none of that would put me off. Especially one pic amongst many.
A table full of empty glasses, pitchers of cocktails, a stack of empty cans or pics of them clearly d*unk on a night out; would absolutely put me off

Note to self. Drink 1/3pt measures of DIPA or imperial stout from Teken glass if you ever meet Nero. |

I'm a craft beer nerd, so several of my pics show me appreciating a good IPA or imperial stout. It's going to put some people off, whilst be a common ground for others.
And yes, I probably do drink too much when I'm out and nervous.
That's a simple fact. |

I've been teetotal all my life but I have nothing against others having a drink.
If I look at a profile and there is one picture with some form of alcoholic drink it wouldn't bother me.
If it's a theme throughout their gallery it's pretty obvious we wouldn't be compatible. |
