North West

Could be anything live. Music, sports, TV anything.

For me it was wrestling. Used to be a huge Wrestling fan. 2004 watching Monday Night Raw live when it came to Manchester. Good times.

Ooh, what I'd have given to have been there back then!

Mine was Westlife... My parents bought the tickets as a surprise, when I was obsessed with them. Sadly, I'd gone off them by the time the gig came round, the following year! 🙈 Still went though.

I've been to quite a few country music festivals since I was younger but as for seeing well known acts that would have to be Johnny Cash live at an open air concert

Mine would have been a sports thing. Sports was massive in my family growing up, I was always at a game of some sort or another.

Always on the move

The very first Party At The Pier in Liverpool circa 1998/1999. It was a free open air event. I remember Phats And Small being on the line up and Westlife before they were big.

I used to go to Liverpool games as a young kid. Used to stand right behind the goal in the Kop and I recall I had a foldaway stool to stand on, which was left at the ground as we were in a little trench. The atmosphere used to scare and excite me…I went from age 7/8 onwards.

The first live concert would have been Chas and Dave with my mum when I was around 10.

My first solo ‘gig’ was a Coca-cola roadshow that Pete Waterman used to run in the late 80’s. I seen quite a few of his acts…Sonia, Sinitta, Rick Astley…

Def Leppard - Earls Court 'in the round' in 1992. I still remember how awed I was when Rick's drum kit rose up and out over the audience.
