Yeah we know, it's warm. Or it was warm, and it will be warm again. But which one are you once that thing in the sky makes an appearance.
Sun god/goddess
Doesn't sweat just has a glistening glow, golden tan, a wardrobe full of summer attire. Come home on an evening and basks in the sunshine with maybe a cold.glass of pims/prosecco or do you decant a lager into a fancy glass?
Sweaty mess.
Red faced and bloated. Sun burnt or pale from the thick layer of factor 50 you slather on every hour. Begrudgingly buys summer clothes just so you don't die of heat stroke. Constantly irritable and get homes and draws the curtains and sits in a darkened room longing for autumn.
Or maybe just somewhere in-between? |

I’m in between.
I love the sun, the sun doesn’t love me.
I’m sweaty and Larry the lobster after a few hours of bareback with the sun and minimal suncream.
I then proceed to be a grumpy fuck all night when I can’t sleep for sunburn and irritation 🤣 |

I can’t lounge in the sun, I have to be doing something. I don’t really sweat, I’m sure I do, but I don’t need to wipe my brow in a manly way like I’m in a drinks ad.
So I guess I’ll have to settle for the god’like son soaker upoer. |

"Definitely the latter! I absolutely hate being hot 🥵 I blame it on me carrying the ginger gene.
I avoid the sun at all costs, even with factor 50, I will burn and then go white again.
Donna "
I'm not ginger but I'm sure I have the gene! |

I’m a sweaty mess but lucky my work involves lots of driving in an air conditioned mini bus

I'm in between. I have to do a sunbed course before a holiday to a hot country as burn/blister easily but once I've got a base I'm fairly OK and go dark |

I would say more if the first...but no goddess ha ha...
I don't burn and do go a nice golden colour. I spend all day in an air-conditioned hell so I have to take a jumper to work even in the summer. I don't have a lot of summer clothes and I eat icecream and lollies until I can't fit into them anyway |

I like sitting in a cool dark room and not socialising but I also love the summer. Get a bit frizzy and frazzled. Naturally tanned.
Why can't I say I want to stay pale? It's not fair. It's so... something. |

I have the pale skin and freckles plus have produced 3 kids who are all very ginger (despite them having two different dads, both with brown hair)
My eldest used to always tell me I’d infected him with the ginger gene 😂 |

"I have a hi heat tolerance and don't sweat unless it's really hot. I do need to work on a tan this year. I'm pasty most of the time."
For a second I though you were gonna leave it at "I don't sweat".........

"Underboob sweat is the worst 🤣
They actually sell reusable cotton bra liners... I mean, I've not tried them but this is news to me, and I'm considering it! 😅"
Imagine getting down to business and they fall out of your bra as you take it off "oh just ignore those, they're my underboob sweat collectors" 🤣 |

Sure there'll be a kink or market for that somewhere! 🤷♀️🤣 |

In-between, never far from the factor 50, but I like sitting out in a shady spot, have to wait till after 6 to go for a walk though.
This is as warm as I can cope with though, any hotter and then I'm indoors with the curtains shut and the fan on. |

"Ok also, do you actually like having a tan or do you prefer to stay pale?
"
Despite being ginger, I do get a bit of colour. But mostly on my arms and chest 😂 I just wish all of me would tan from just showing a little bit of skin. |

I grew up in a hot climate, and I tan fairly readily as a result. Having said that, I prefer the moon and stars to the sun. So I'm likely to pull the curtains, or sit in the shadiest spot wearing dark glasses and a hat. |

Definitely the latter… I don’t tolerate the heat or sun well at all. My eyes water, I feel like a sweaty mess, my bra rubs and my makeup doesn’t last as well. I wish I tanned but I just burn and go back to white. I don’t even try to tan anymore - I slap SPF50 on and sit in the shade. |

I love the summers in this country. It never gets too hot. Love the sunshine. I tan easily and feel so much happier when the sun is shining. Occasionally I'm a hot sweaty mess but there are ways to cool down. I'm happy right now!! |

Sun Goddess
Not that I actually like the heat, I'm the first to complain when it gets too hot 🥵
But I tan super quick, just putting the washing on the line and I go back inside a shade darker then I went out 5 mins prior! |

I don't really like hot weather.
Wife obviously needs hot showers and a million blankets.
I have lived in very hot countries but the novelty wears off when you work in a suit and it's 35 degrees.
I don't like cold either but you can wear warm clothes while heat you cannot really escape. Sure Aircon but you might as well not bother with living somewhere warm then.
In England I don't burn at all
In canaria if I sunbathe for hours without the right cream I will burn
In my wife's country I burn in 30 mins even when it's not really that hot. The sun is just bigger and more radiation.

"The latter. I hate not wearing my comfy jumpers and having shitty two-tone arms while trying not melt or have a heart attack in the gym because of how stifling it is. Bring on the Autumn!"
I like you Joe. |
