You’d be a haven of peace for people escaping the war |

Please note: this is not serious.
Clearly the North is better.
There's already an English border between Wales and Scotland. So where is the North-Midlands-South divide?
I'd suggest above a line from Chester to Skegness as being "The North".
Between that line and one from Gloucester and King's Lynn as "The Midlands".
Below that line is "The South".
If there is to be a war between North and South, I'm applying for refugee status in the Midlands as I'm a coward.
I expect the North to win over the Southern Softies. |

It’s easy to beat cockneys. Just give it an inch of snow and the whole place is fucked.
Mean while in the midlands and the north we’ve been getting on with our daily lives in 10ft of snow for a fortnight. |

Love this idea especially as I’m from South London originally but have been in North West Leicestershire for nearly 20 years now! I can’t pick sides! |

I suggest the boundary is drawn across the top of Worcestershire. I'd be able to wave to the south from my window, but I want to be in the north |

What an interesting concept … I am from Cumbria so we would declare independence from every one else
We are peace keepers and territorial
However slight problem I live in Hampshire now
I think I am stuffed
Getting back … would be a problem ! |

"What’s the south ever done for us northerners 😀"
Well my sister( who is part Yorkshire/Scottish) but born in the South gave birth for her Yorkshire husband two beautiful children.
Now he's decided to dump her to live life of pubbing, mates and golf. Instead of staying by her side through retirement which what she signed up for but apparently he didn't (in his tiny little mind what a twat).
War it sure looks like it to me.

I used to live in Birmingham and anywhere north of us was the north and anywhere south of us was the south.
I now live in Suffolk and the locals say anywhere north of the A14 is the north.
Dread to think what people in Portsmouth think is North/South
I’d say the A47 east of Birmingham and the A5 west of Birmingham would be a good divide |

"Anyone one who says Baath is north. Anyone who say barth is south. Oxford is a good division line "
A system ruined by the fact that people from Bath* (and the rest of Somerset for that matter) say "Baaath" with an even longer 'aaaa' than their northern cousins.
*maybe not the posh folk from Lansdown, but definitely those from Twerton |
