Doesn't matter cant block distances |
"Worst is an instant block rather than a no thank you !! "
I insta block those that don't read profiles and or are vile in a first message.. but if they read a profile they'd know why they would be blocked |

Best excuse I ever got was..
"I can't meet you as planned because I have just got back from seeing my mum and I have left my phone there so have to go back to get it. She lives 10O miles away" (true story)
2nd best was for a second sex meet.
"I am going on holiday to France now for 3 weeks, so have to cancel "
I saw the him driving a HPC bus along the NDR when he was meant to be on holiday, so was just an excuse.

He was staying down south with family and he was drive back home, up north.
Can't meet today, as my brother wants a lift back as well.
But later that day, he posts a meet up for that afternoon and then has a veri saying what a lovely afternoon it was .

We had a couple who we'd arranged a social meet message to say they couldn't make it as their daughter was unwell.
About an hour later they put up a status looking for a meet as they'd been let down.
" Ouch" |

"Does anyone have a go-to when politely letting someone down gently?
Or even a copy and pasted rejection? "
A straight no thanks, I'm no longer interested does the job for me.
I don't want to lie or give them something to try and convince me about. Just a simple no 💜 |

I say
"Not for me thanks, good luck with your fab adventures".
I deliberately emphasise it's about me not a reflection on the sender.

And thank you because I feel better knowing that |

I've had a couple of corkers.
One cancelled because 'he was just about to leave the house when his elderly neighbour collared him and asked if he could help him move his living room furniture around'
The other I was due to go to a club event with, he messaged as I getting ready to say 'he was now going with someone else, might see me in there'
Karma was kind, he messaged an hour later to say 'she'd stood him up, so he could come now'
Told him to 'fuck right orf, I was nobody's booby prize |

"Love this response fair play to you
He made you an option and was himself the last in line "
It was the 'oh well, if you change your mind because I'm at a loss now'
I said 'oh well, thats not my problem' |

Had to work late and phone ran out of juice.
Car wouldn't start. Saw car in club car park later.
Friend had asked him to attend event instead. She cancelled on him, asked to come with me as' it's really expensive for single man'. Oh dear, fuck off!!! |

If I've been chatting and the chat fades out or if we share face pics and there's no click or chemistry?
I'll get really creative and say something like.
'Hey, I've enjoyed chatting with you but I'm just not getting any real chemistry here so it's probably best to leave things here. Can't be helped. Take care!' |

Sure, but can I still look at your legs for a bit? |

I usually try to be polite if we've chatted because sometimes all seems well and then they'll send messages that just give me the ick ..... so I say thanks don't wish to take things further hope they find what they are looking for.
I listen to my instincts and so if the ick is triggered more than once it's a polite no thanks.
