I struggle with spelling and grammar as im dyslexic, I spelling check often when typing out sentences. So I will give you the ick.

For me, it's more the fact i don't know what they are saying or are trying to say, I haven't done text speak since i was a teenager.

People who express preferences with the maturity of a 12 year old are a huge turn off. Just because you don't like something doesn't make it "yuck", "gross" or
