I don't know I've taken the dominant position a few times, when roleplaying etc and tbh I have found it very silly.

In the right situation and with the right person, I am totally submissive and don't have a dominant bone in my body. I am currently exploring this with a partner i met on here. I don't like to be pigeonholed into a role. I describe myself as a "switch" for ease, but it really depends on the person I'm "playing" with, how we work/fit together, and how I and they are feeling on the day.
I like variety.
I used to think I was submissive when I was younger but I've discovered I'm actually not that submissive. I’m more of a responder as in tell me what you need and I will fill the role, i enjoy more of an authority dynamic than out right dom/sub.

I would say this is the same for me, certainly as someone who is comparatively vanilla'ish. I'm dominant in the bedroom, taking charge, taking the lead...but nothing like what's been described above.
