Killed off or is it killing off the ability to carry out a face to face conversation with each other or someone
Whilst there are definite benefits a lot of interactions now seem to be by an app or text messaging service
Before these were an option you’d either have to ring someone or go round to see them
Post Covid we are still doing a lot by teams or zoom for work meaning certain people in the workplace who went to a place of work now interact via an app, for some this can be beneficial and others feel distanced
Is it time to put the phones or internet down for an hour or so a day and make the call or visit the person
For those that predominantly communicate via apps how do you feel when you actually have to do it face to face? |

I work via teams every day, don't have an office to go to. Also dont have an issue having a face to face conversation. I just choose how and who I have them with, I don't want to talk to everyone. |

I torn.
I many ways I think the internet is the biggest evil to befall society since religion was invented, it's the scourge of the modern age.
Then it's also opened a whole new era of communication an information superhighway allowing people to find anything within seconds, which has made us lazy, part of this laziness is losing the ability to communicate verbally, but it allows so much good as well.
As you have probably guessed I'm a waffler,I am a nervous talker put me next to people in a room and I'll either sit in silence or just wont shut up.
The internet has given me the ability to get a point across without waffling..... Occasionally |
