I’m not sure. I get sent amazing photos of gorgeous women, guys and couples - but I don’t want to seem too into them without knowing them, so I’ll often not comment at all on their appearance. I’ll just say thanks for sending and continue talking as usual. So it’s not always a bad thing.
If I’m not attracted to someone I’ll usually compliment them on a great feature they have, and then let them know they aren’t my type. |

On the other hand, women often don't compliment men as freely as men do as men take that as an instant 'wanna bang ?!' on here.
I would definitely find something positive to comment on if they were only beautiful in their mother's eyes and I was chatting properly with them. |

A fair point of women not being overly generous with compliments, many would take them as green light..
Personally if we don't a positive comment on our picture we'd just take it they're not interested but won't say it and let it go at that.

I always respond to a face picture, I always appreciate how vulnerable it can make people.
I love all faces though & if I am into someone (romantically,sexually or just friendship)
I would probably love their face anyway.
Someone didn't respond to my face picture once (yesterday) and I just presumed he didn't find gorgeous women attractive 😹
