Not to be confused with pic suggestion of course.
What is your favourite sort of pie? Are you a pie person at all? Would that be savoury, sweet or both? Are you an individual pie sort of person or happy with a portion from a larger pie? Do you lust for a drep filled one and a good crust or will a tart with no top will be just fine ? |

I can take it or leave it. Savoury wins for me. I like a creamy pie, pun intended. But, seriously. I prefer that to a gravy one.
Mr prefers apple pie, and he'll just devour the whole lot! 🤣 Family size? Challenge accepted. |

Ooh now you’re talking MB
In winter I love a good game pie… pheasant, duck, rabbit and venison all slow cooked in a red wine stock
For dessert I want a sweet mincemeat, apple and chestnut pie with a big dollop of clotted cream
In autumn i love a good wild boar, apple and cider with lots of herbs
For dessert its got to be a pecan pie or toffee apple crumble topped pie
Summer has to be a light mushroom, courgette and cheese galette
With a strawberry and rhubarb lattice pie
Spring, easy one, a spanakopita
Followed by a lemon and mascarpone tart |

I am an occasionsl pie eater but like a good fish pie, a nice steak and ale pie and love a spanakopita. An almond frangipane (Sally might call this a tart) or a proper deep filled apple pie with lots of cinnamon and some ice cream are delicious. Pork pie at xmas but with cranberies |

I'm partial to a few different types of pie. For preference they would be homemade
Pork pie. ideally with plenty of jelly.
(With a Salad)
Steak and kidney pie. Short crust or suet crust pastry. (With mash and green vegetable)
Tarte Tatin (With custard or salted caramel swirl ice cream)
Rhubarb crumble hint of ginger (with custard or vanilla)

There's a couple of sweet pies I like but definitely prefer a savoury pie. Meat and potato, steak and ale, chicken and ham, chicken and leek, chicken and mushroom, cheese and onion are all good shouts. |
