Spun my old legs out of bed the other morning, poked my head out of the window to catch some fresh air,to see a guy letting his dog take a dump outside my gate ( well it is as drop kerb, right )
Daddy starts to walk off.
“ Oi Mush - No!”
“Are you going to clear that up ?”
“ yeah sure” he chirped , pulls a bag out of his pocket and duly obliged, no drama 🤷♂️.
It made me think back ,years walking with head down navigating piles of 💩,rather than the I phone these days, but I can’t remember the last time I actually trod in dog shit .

We've got 2 dogs and always have a pocket full of poop bags, awhile go we caught someone down the road letting their dog poop outside the house on the cameras and walk off so my wife went to theirs and knocked on the door with a bag and told them to pick it up. |

Fair play ,90%owners are good nowadays , just remembering being constantly cleaning 💩 as a kid |

I’m sure the majority are good but what fucks me off is the growing trend of slinging the dog poo bag into the hedge for it to be left hanging there. Why go to the trouble of bagging it, just to do that🤷🏻♂️ |

Dog owners in this area are really good at picking up after them.
What really annoys me is them having those extending leads and expecting me to walk in the road because they're taking the whole pavement up. Also your dog might be friendly but I'm not so don't let it approach me while shouting "don't worry he wouldn't hurt a fly". I'm not a fly madam |

We live near a big park, one where most people in the area (and those from elsewhere drive to) take their dog for a crap.
Often, the dogs are so desperate for a dump, they don't even reach the park and take a shit on the pavement. The owners then instantly do a 180 and go back the way the came. Literally job-done!
It's at least 50/50 as to if they pick up the shit afterwards.
(Third time's the charm for posting this!) |

I always have poop bags on me, in the car, in my hiking rucksack, in my walking body bag etc kids need a tissue? First thing out of my coat pocket is 3 poop bags and then a tissue. Just how it is.
I have to pick my dogs poop up as you’d need climbing gear to get over 2/3 of my pooches poop. They’re massive! |

i'm a farmer up in cumbria, we have a lake on our land and dog owners often come let their dog off to run round and do a poo, they don't bother about the sheep in the field or other people walking about and if you question them they say it's a lake anybody's allowed to walk around the lake,
NO not if it's private land and you certainly don't leave dog poo where there are sheep grazing, it makes them abort and gives them listeria |

I wouldn’t have known that being a city boy but you would have thought locals would be more Savvy , but as I my dad often said to me ‘You can’t educate a C *** . |

I get this when I am out with my dog....I walk him at the far end of the field on a lead, sometimes muzzled.
Little Timmy comes to say hello, the owners oblivious to the fact....I call out - "hi, is this your dog?"
- "yes he is friendly"
- "Oh ok, well mine isn't"
Cue owner running like the clappers to 'rescue' Timmy from the nasty German Shepherd (obviously a muzzled dog is a nasty dog )...German Shepherd is in reality is thinking 'Da fuq, dude, calm down'
And yes I always pick up his poop....I think he gets a weird kick out of watching me pick up his poop. As he poops then stands there watching me with a judgemental look like "Oh yeah, pick up my shit bitch"

Times have changed as once we went on holiday with the dog to Devon and she decided to take a poo and put my hand in the bag and no poo bags!!! My Mrs got a tissue out and pick up this big log like some nasty poo ice cream and walk it to the bin lol.
It does infuriate me when people don’t pic it up as every dog owner gets tarred with the same brush |
