Brum - ish

How much of the corkscrew is trapped in the corn? Could you push it into the bottle and decant?

Depending how much of it is left, heating the neck of the bottle can help push the cork upwards enough to grab.

😬🍷

I don't drink wine so haven't had this happen. I did watch a video where they pushed it in to the bottle then used a food bag to do some magic and pull it out again. That's my best advice.

As long as it hasn't exploded at the back of the airing cupboard 👍

Long memories of my mum trying to make wine and it blowing all over the place 😂🤓

I think this was a 'Gen-something' thing. Parents making 'whiyne' in the hotpress and having it explode all over the bedsheets & towels

🤣🤣

I like your thinking.

I think.

I could go...

*Right, I'm getting in you one way or the other. Wait there while I get my hammer*.

*Ok, I'll have 2 of your kin and deal with you later*

*I don't like you anyway you were just there on offer.. I'll get a 4pk of Stella and give you to a mate to deal with*

My mantra is 'if in doubt, give it a clout' applies to many scenarios including tellybox malfunctions and people being peopley

Tastes amazing, the hints of shredded cork really added some body to it.

Get a butter knife and try to tease the cork out. Be careful though and don't twist it, you don't want to grind the glass of the spout and get glass in your drink. I've had this problem before. I stick to screw tops now.

Sympathies

I saw someone use a lighter on the bottle neck , this caused the cork to move up and pop out
