I think there’s lots of reasons to consider why someone hasn’t had gender reaffirming surgery.
It’s a very big cost, and not always able to be funded.
It can put you out of work/daily life for a little while.
There are huge waitlists.
It can be quite an intense operation, and not every body is physically able to go through it.
Most important reason- it’s their choice. Doesn’t make them any less than anyone else, or deserving of people questioning them if they haven’t had it.  |

Now I like that mix of femininity with and "added bonus" not everyone wants or needs to be one thing or the other. And there's a whole bunch of trans men on social media that have got me thinking all sorts of thoughts. |

I think most of us are ill equipped to make any kind of judgement on trans people and what they choose to do with their bodies. Happy to discuss and understand them better, should they wish to. Until then, will be respecting them by minding my own business |
