I’ve been quiet on here for the past few days because things have been rough. I won’t go into too much detail but…yeah 🙄
Sending love to anyone going through the same thing 💜
What’s everyone’s favourite way to switch off? Mines building cliffs in animal crossing then knocking them down |

I am on holiday in Sicily, and instead of enjoying myself, I keep getting panic attack after panic attack and I wake up with palpitations and feeling I can’t breathe.
My toxic household is my brother. He is thousands of miles away across the Atlantic, but the power he has over me is unbelievable. And the people around him who think I should just move back in with him and look after him for the rest of his life, despite me having 2 underage children at home and a job.
Been trying to breathe more easily and tomorrow will have a chilled day by the pool with my phone off. |

I'm going to take my dogs for a walk to calm down 😏 |

People are always very quick to offer up other people's lives, efforts and time.
Let those others step up.
Turning off your phone or muting chats seems like a really healthy choice for you x |

I like to do a physical task/job about the house or anywhere really. Something that takes a bit of focus. Even if it's just folding towels.
Anything that lets me distract my brain from thinking and just DO random stuff.

I've been in a highly toxic household for the last few years, always with the hope that I'd be heard and it would improve.
It didn't, so I walked and it's the best thing I ever did.
Staying deliberately single now and can't see that changing in the forseeable |

Sorry to hear you’ve been having a tough time ……. My solution was to walk out and not look back ……. It brought its own problems and I tend to take myself off somewhere far away from civilisation whenever I can. Injury has made that difficult this year, but I do take my “kitchen” everywhere so I can just stop whatever I am doing, sit down, turn off the phone and have five minutes just enjoying the moment and switching off from the world for a bit.
Big love OP |
