Jump to: Newest in thread
In a recent survey on car Dealerships around the UK
They were asked about car interior tidiness
The most common answer was that women come out worst for tidiness the most common term said was they treated their car interior like handbags or dustbins
And it was very surprising the things that were found in them
Is this true ladies 🤔 |

Nope. Whilst I may not vacuum or dust inside the car regularly,, there's nothing left in there other than my driving specs, the cable for my phone, some mints and some tissues, which are kept in the glove box or the console storage. |

I think that might be more related to the fact that women, still in this day and age, will have children in the car more than men on average. My car is mostly a shit tip and it's all my children's fault. |

I’m not sure the survey was based on much data, or perhaps just “feels”
"I think that might be more related to the fact that women, still in this day and age, will have children in the car more than men on average. My car is mostly a shit tip and it's all my children's fault. "
This is significant, I’m sure! |

"Why not ask them to bring their litter out of the car afterwards, to put straight in the bin ?"
I do, and they mostly oblige, but kids are shit at tidying up and leave little bits like the odd sweet wrapper |

I keep my truck very clean and tidy
The only thing that is inside the glove box other then locking wheel nuts are condoms and a wand
The truck being clean and tidy leaves room for my mind to be filthy and dirty |

My car is neat n tidy. My male friends car has a passenger well of empty fizzy drinks bottles papers and other assorted shite.... and a dash that looks like it's got a crew cut of dust.
Funny thing is. He is immaculate himself |

I have carrier bags, an air compressor for my tyres, jump leads, de-icer and Wellington boots in my car boot and the manual, sunglasses and some medicines in the glove box. It's my partner I always have to tell off for leaving crap in there. |

I fully admit my car isn't very tidy . Dog, children, food on the run. In my list of priorities hoovering it isn't high.
I do clean it out and put rubbish in the bin but there's always some random spare shoes ,clothes etc |

As separate subjects, women are good, and motor cars are good, it’s the overlap that causes the issues.
To be fair to women I’m pretty clueless when it comes to sewing machines, but there comes the difference, I know my limitations and stay away from sewing machines. |

Oh mine's a mess. Various kid's coats for all weathers. Different shoes, sand play equipment. A plethora of soft toys.
I have duck food in the door that's been there ages and pig food in the other I keep forgetting to use when visiting a farm.
Oh and snacks get eaten in the back seat.
I don't care I'm generally not ferrying other people about, if I do i just tell them not to look down |

Cannot speak for the women but most I know their car is a tip. Mine is spotless and cleaned at least once a week. No food etc allowed in it and no rubbish allowed to be left in it so 5 mins gives it a vacuum and clean. |

I have a first aid kit and a water bowl in my boot for when I go on long walks with the pooches. My boot IS covered in dog hair. Otherwise my car is fairly tidy. I very rarely clean inside though (like dusting etc). I just use a tissue to wipe off as I go along. I probably wash my car once a year.
Now, when I had a car with a cd player it was a different story. My glove box was choc full of cd’s. |
