I had absolutely no idea, i imagined i would probably delete it after a day and yet here we are 🤣 still dont really have a clue tbh but i am sure of what i dont want from this site 😁 |

Being brutally honest, my marriage had broken up, I was lonely. I'm not a hardened swinger, but I enjoyed the social side and clubs. Should I still be here? Who knows, but it has met about 40% of my expectations, which is why I now have none 🤓🥷 |

Hmm we joined to arrange meets, find people we get on well with and have fun.
This is mostly what has happened so far.
I didn’t expect some of the messages we received or how many times I’d have to repeat no if I “did the polite thing” and responded to say if not interested.
We also didn’t expect to get convinced to try clubs - or enjoy them so much! |

I joined with no real expectations after being steered to it by a now dear friend who I met the first time I visited a club.
I thought it would be a good way to keep in touch with people I met in clubs and to see what events were on. It has far exceeded those simple reasons and I have made some genuine friends through it.

First time round I/we had an plan…. Nope. That didn’t really materialise.

I had zero experience of anything like this and wasn't on any other sites so I had no expectations beyond new experiences.
9 years later I have much less inclination or motivation but I have no regrets over my experiences to date and am proud of the fact that I still have the courage of my convictions and will only ever do fab on my terms. |

My expectations of FAB were low, I thought the people may mix amongst the established people on the site and newbies like me would sit and watch the fun.

We was very hopeful and just looking to have fun and make friends too. We didn't expect it to be as tough as it was but we seem to have found our feet somewhat. As we only want to have fun with Bi women we didn't realise it would be so difficult but, we soon learned! I was hoping for lots of meets with women and couples.
I have manged it but they have been few, and far between.
What I have found out is that Fab should have have added two interest categories of Ghosting and Standing up.

Has it fulfilled my expectations? 😮💨 YES and then some! I have met some people on here who have absolutely blown my mind! I feel very safe on Fab… have made great friends. It has been awesome.  |

I was on the sister site to fab until it closed. Fab at that time was always the dark side 😂. I just moved across when it closed, the sites are / were very similar in the way they’re designed, so it was easy to just start afresh. Here is so much better in terms of numbers though, far more people. |

We created our fab profile after finding out we liked a third person involved in our sex life but realised that it was complicated with friends.
We didn’t really know what to expect and it took a bit of getting used to but we’ve met some lovely people, found out all about the clubs and socials which we wouldn’t have known about without fab and on the whole have found it a positive experience so far xx 😘

Had no real concrete “expectations”. The site was recommended to me by a woman I was seeing at the time. She showed me her overflowing inbox of messages and gave me very valuable advice as how NOT to navigate it as a (then) single man and how to go about it the right way.
After first day of being on here and countless messages sent, I was lucky enough that a couple took a chance on me and we met which was a one off. After that, I decided “lemme see what these parties are all about as this messaging lark is more hassle than it’s worth”. Rocked up alone to said party, got chatting to people some of whom were party host themselves, had some play at said party with a lovely lady & then everything took off from there. |

No expectations as I understood it would be so heavily male members (pardon the pun), which as I'm bisexual isn't an issue.

We tried a couple of other sites first, but to no avail. Then we spotted Fabs back in 2009. Everything was great, chatted loads, over the years we have met and played with quite a few people and swinging friends became real friends.
Over the years the dynamics of the site have changed dramatically.
Most of our friends have either left Fabs, or have not been on for years.
Far more timewasters, far more so called influencers (that have paid profiles elsewhere) . So many leaving and re-joining multiple times.
So many Bi Blokes pretending they are straight, millions more Cock shot only profiles. lots more TV's ( yes we are entitled to an opinion)
We appreciate we are a lot older now, and outside quite a few peoples age range.
Our expectations were met, but since moving to the SW (nearly 5 years ago) It's all gone down hill |
