What’s the worst thing about being an adult (other than paying taxes!) for you?
For me, it’s deciding what to have for dinner! I love cooking and I’m pretty damn good at it, but deciding what to cook for the family is a fucking nightmare!
You’ve to decide what to cook days in advance, which is hard enough, but then you’ve got to actually get the stuff and remember later on the week what you decided!
Can’t wait to see what everyone else thinks! X |

Having to navigate people's emotional feelings! And try not to offend with any hurty wurty words! Bah, meh!!🙄 At least as a kid you're taught about sticks and stones and not to be offended by anything...gets turned on it's head, somehow when you're an adult... Oooo the irony!🙄🤔 |

It's just as hard when you're a single man too. Out at work all day and then wtf to have for evening meal when I get home at 7:30. 🙄 |

"Geez, some of you guys have it so tough.
Just be thankful you are not living in Ukraine, that would give all of us soft molly coddled ‘victims’ to really worry about"
Toxic positivity is not helpful.
It’s ok to have worries and irritations, it’s not a competition. |

Agreed. It's good to have perspective but it doesn't mean you should ignore your own struggles because someone else has it worse. |

I'm neither mollycoddled or a victim. I just hate housework. I don't worry about it. I ignore it. |

God, the people in Ukraine have it so easy! They could be starving orphans in Africa.
God, starving orphans in Africa have it so easy. They could be political prisoners in China.
God, political prisoners in China have it so easy. They could have lost all their limbs.
...
Are we playing trivialising suffering? I could do this all day. Is there a point? |

If I ask the teenager what he wants for dinner, we would live on pizza and hotdogs, or maybe the occasional KFC thrown in for good measure. So not only do I have to decide what to have for dinner, I actually have to cook it as well. |

And that’s after doing the shopping so that the food is there to cook.
Please can someone come and adult for me. |

Realising how selfish the majority of us are, that poverty only exists so that the few can have excess.
The level of ignorance the vast majority of adults have, the childlike way with which they can accept victimhood if told by somebody with presumed authority.
It's disheartening 😂🤣

Filters.
As kids you'd more often than not get a straight answer to a straight question.
Adults often hide their true thoughts and feelings. Not always for kind reasons. And even the kind motives can be misplaced, misinterpreted or manipulated by others.
It's tough to navigate. |

"Dealing with teens!
Dealing with (some!) other adults
The adults I have to deal with are far more preferable to our teens 😬"
I'm beginning to understand why you have a husband and a boyfriend 😂
Sometimes Gotta just say fuck it! |

Coming across people you dislike intensely, and you can't punch them.
I mean specifically the kind of suck up who says 'Happy Monday' to you every fucking Monday. Am I a fucking idiot? Mondays are never happy! |

Totally agree. Yes, it's first world "problems" - but that doesn't mean they aren't problems. |

I dislike the snake at work. Will absolutely tell management at the most minor issue immediately yet does far worse himself. But he's always the nicest person to your face. Cunt. |

Life is what you make it.
Be happy, smiling is contagious! |

Because it's a work day! Who in the hell is happy to go back to work after the weekend?
This phrase was invented by companies who try to fool us that we should be happy to work for them, while the boss sits on his arse at home. |

When something happens that you need to pay that eats a chunk into your savings or budget unexpectedly.
Like, oh you need a new washing machine, a part for your boiler, I've found a leak after the last storm |

"The aches and pains of growing old.
Beats the alternative - not growing old.
Always look on the bright side of life!
You have a point there. I will change it to 3 day hangovers. "
