Let me start.

I think i have a interesting job.

I work offshore on a rig for oil and gas.

I wish that waste of skin and blood would have the balls to pop out and visit a rig.

I used to do interesting work with guns, nasty people and fast cars. Now life is far more relaxed and I'm doing up some property and I do a bit of consultancy work; sometimes boring is best 🤣 plus my body has aged beyond it's years and running and rolling around wouldn't go so well these days 😢

Had a job that was interesting at times but mostly boring. Health and Safety advisor.

Now I'm a school caretaker, so much better.

I had an interesting job, working at an airport. Started off on the ramp, chucking bags in and out of holds, then moved up to moving the planes around the airfield.

I've just got a new job, in the same industry (healthcare) and at times it'll be very face paced and interesting.

I've been on a flexible contract for the last 3 years, meaning I've gone wherever I'm needed. So it'll be nice to be somewhere permanent.

Air crash investigator. Or perhaps a forensic scientist, would be the jobs, I would go for, if I was young again. Sound seriously interesting.

I'm an archaeologist - it's not as glamorous as you think, but I do love it!

I have had a remarkably interesting working life in a very wide variety of roles in various parts of the world but that has left me with no proper pension so now I would do pretty well anything locally part time to help keep the wolf from the door!

I have been fortunate enough to do some interesting historical work, and some voluntary archaeological work when young, but alas I fear that being a research scientist would be completely beyond me!

Working in the film industry sounds a lot of fun and interesting but the reality can be far from that.

Long days. Punishing working hours and freelance work all over the country really takes its toll on relationships. And as one mentioned already sod all in the way of a pension.

Great stories but awful conditions.

Get told my job is interesting.

There was an issue with something & I was just new & responsible for overseeing this issue. It escalated fairly quickly to the bigwigs in the U.S etc. Could have had global product recall consequences.

What I do in my job matters. So that's both interesting & scary AF😅

I don't think I have an interesting job.

Every day is exactly the same.

However the monotony is actually a comfort to me and I find my inner peace and calmness in such an equilibrium.

I worked in Uganda for a month - was baking, but I loved it - everyone is different, but I love the Sun!

We worked from 5am till midday excavating then washed the cultural material under cover when it was hottest x

Funny how we all have different perspectives. I'm from Africa, I hate the humid heat I grew up in on the coast, and the dry heat in the interior that I served in the army in. You couldn't pay me to go back (people have tried).

I consider my work challenging and occasionally interesting - I'm a software engineer.

Most of my jobs have been interesting. First one was peering down microscopes counting chromosomes (a little more involved but that basically was it).

Second building lightweight steel cycle race framsets.

Third fixing broken gas boilers and other appliances.

Interspersed between these were boring jobs, sales/management etc

I also knew someone who was a forensic anthropologist. They spent their life researching genocide sites. I also briefly met the man responsible for overseeing the clearance of landmines from the Falkland Islands and had to sign off that they had all been cleared. There are some very specialised and interesting jobs out there.
