A serious question if I may

When someone fabs one of your pics or videos do you take it as a positive?
My thinking around fabbing is it’s a positive response to seeing something I like , some positive feedback in a way. Wondering if this is how it’s received or not? |

"I do, but I suspect your more interested in the female perspective.
Bear in mind that they will get tons of fabs, I have a feeling that many of their fabs get lost in the post."
No an open question for everyone, I guess I’m curious if what I consider a positive intent, is received as such |

So yeah, Fabs are a means for me to see an interest and perhaps start a conversation. |

Picking up on that point ( and sorry if I’m detailing slightly Stanners) ..
But at some point surely the individual fabs become meaningless? It just becomes a race to get as many fabs as possible? And if women are getting so many fabs they get lost in the post, do they even mean anything? |

No it’s all good input, and I guess you’re right, if there are so many the value or impact of each individual fab may be reduced
Can’t say I’ve ever had so many as to not get excited about every one though 😂 |

"You'd naturally take it as a, positive, even if it's a fabbing for a fabbing sake. It's rare enough. Take the win, bud "
Sorry I was actually approaching it from the perspective of me fabbing other people’s stuff and how that’s received.
I definitely take fabs sent to me as a big positive 😁 |

"It's a positive - but it also doesn't necessarily mean we want to chat to you.
That's why I rarely fab. "
I suspect that's the root of the OP's question - a FAB can very quickly be followed by a block if someone misinterprets it for "I like you, please swamp my inbox" |

Please can someone explain how someone fabbing one of your pics / videos could be taken any other way than a positive?
Would actually be really interested to hear a different perspective as you must have posed this question for a reason Stanners? |

So in summary, if you fab it you like it.
Doesnt necessarily mean that you want to get contacted regarding it.
So with this in mind, if you lick it, do you own it?
And, if you smelt it, did you "dealt" it ?

Yeah, it’s a compliment nit an invitation. |

When I had them on, I generally took Fabs as a positive, but in a market research way. "This picture got X fabs, that one got 2X fabs, the people like the second kind better".
I didn't notice who Fabbed what, except when they went through and Fabbed everything. I noticed that as a sign someone was trying to get my attention - and didn't give it to them. |

"I do if it’s a female fab but 99.9% of the time it’s a male fabbing my pics which leads me to blocking them as I explicitly say I’m not interested in males whatsoever. "
Maybe they're not interested in you either? Liking someone's photo can simply be just that rather than an expression of interest |

Sometimes a compliment is a compliment. "Cool photo", not "I don't care what you want, I want your cock". |

I’ve removed the ability for people to fab my pics. I like to think it’s because I don’t care what people think of me or my pictures, the reality is that I know the (perceived) lack of fabs will sadden me.
I’m also conscious I may be tempted to message someone just to say thanks, but that may be seen as an attempt to woo them. And, if I’m honest with myself, they’d probably be right - that mindset of “If they liked a picture, they’re bound to like the legend in person.”
I wish I was a better person. |

If someone likes your pictures, it's nice. It's nice to be appreciated.
But to go back to my original point, many ladies pics when they go up that it likely erodes the impact of a single like.
I also use likes to decide which pictures to use as my profile pic, and which are less popular. |

Yes, I love it when my pics are fabbed, and km endlessly fabbing pics, it's a show of appreciation |

I see it as a positive but it has never been the reason for posting the pics or videos in the first place.
My pics have been complimented many times over the years and even held up in a few threads as an example of how to present oneself on a profile but they get very very few fabs.
I would be hard pressed to remember the last time a new pic or video got double figure fabs so obviously I don't take them for that reason.
If I did I would have given up a long time ago. |
