I’m sick of the doom and gloom so let’s have those memories from your childhood/youth that bring a tear to your eye, or a smile, or a chuckle

The Kia Ora add at the flicks “too orangey for crows”

"For mash, get smash!"

Earth people peeled their own potatoes with their metal knives, boiled them for twenty of their minutes, then smashed them all to bits

Calling someone’s landline from home, asking to speak to them, arranging to meet them somewhere at a specified time and if they didn’t turn up you went home and accepted it! No mobiles

Aberystwyth

When I was a young lad I was only kid around who had unrestricted access to the internet.

So, I started a little hustle...

I used to buy a box of floppy disks and load them with softcore porn pics and sell them for £5 each.

I was making £50 a week which was a lot of money back then.

Loved doing this and we had a high train bridge over the river you could jump off with a rope then pendulum swing under the bridge.

Kerbsie on the side road with my best friend.

Running for the ice cream man in the evening after dinner.

Walking to school in fog.

Mittens labelled L&R and joined together with cord, threaded through the coat sleeves.
