Looking for recommendations for accounting software for the big switch to digital?

Ease of use ? Cost ? Etc

I've used Xero for my business now for around 10 years.

Easy to use, can't really fault it.

Xero all though there's a whole pile of AI widgets I don't need or want but I've paid for them with the increase in price

Honestly, they all do the same thing

As long as you have a basic knowledge of bookkeeping and input the information in the right ledgers the software does the rest

I never did get the need to pay a lot of money for big named software packages unless your a huge company who needs the add ons for Project Management too

Fo a Sole Trader/ Small Firm the FREE stuff that comes with majority of business bank accounts is sufficient

Another vote for Free Agent - free with Nat West business account (maybe with others, but not sure) and a lot simpler than Quickbooks or Sage.
