The only expectation that I've experienced that I think should be lowered by anyone I've arranged to meet is that we're doing "The Sex". I like to meet for a social to see if we vibe IRL & offer no guarantees that it will result in fornication.
If anyone else is "lowering their expectations" to "be with me", then, in my mind, they are devaluing me & I'm no yellow sticker bargain bin item!

If someone has to lower their expectations/standards to be with either me or my fella then we would rather not play.
We have in the past each taken one ‘ for the team ‘ but we have decided that’s not what we want moving forward.
Either we are both interested and the party’s both interested in us or we move on.
We would be mortified if we thought someone was giving either one of us a pitty play ! |
