Why do people make this site a nightmare for others, no shows, ghosting, nasty comments. If your going to behave like a child f*ck off and let the genuine people get on with it and enjoy themselves. |

I'm going to say probably because so many single guys are in abundance on this site. That some people think it is perfectly acceptable to treat single guys like pieces of shit. I know a lot of guys are absolute idiots on here but doesn't take away. That a lot of single blokes get abuse too. |

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing such issues and outcomes. There's good and not-so-good in similar sites like these, and with it comes a variety of people who will do whatever it takes to cause disruption versus those who are using the site for the betterment. |

OP, maybe, just possibly, not wishing to cast any aspriations, could it be, even a tiny little bit, to do with your attitude - I mean, how does it come across to other users of the site when some one is pejorative in their first comment on a thread.
Other than that, life looks good, the site is a laught, and people I have met are absolutely brilliant (unless of course they aren't). Have a great day. |

Its a very difficult and slow lifestyle to navigate.
Leave high expectations outside of the website.
Ive had some lovely meets over the years on my solo journey and our couples account.

Sorry to hear this site - and the people on it - are giving you a rough time.
We enjoy the positives and accept the work things sometimes need to progress. The negatives are far outweighed by the positives of being on here for us.
Though I’m mindful that it can be so much more difficult as a single (male or female.)
Everyone (couples too) have their trials, let downs and tribulations.
Let’s hope you find more of the latter soon.

Not here long but apart from a few oddities, which I can’t really say were nasty or abusive, it’s been fine so far.
Anything on line is the same, the cult of the keyboard warrior makes some brave and some stupid.

I haven’t found it a nightmare. I just don’t find anything at all now.
A few years ago I met several nice people, but now there’s nothing going on, and I’ve even stopped paying the £5 per month because nobody’s even chatting. |

Can't say I've found it to be a nightmare.
There are definitely some messed up individuals who are surrounded by enablers but in general it's been an ok experience.
I've never had a no show in 10 years or been catfished and like I've said on other threads, that's down to due diligence and nothing to do with luck. |

Think we all have them especially no shows and main reason we now arrange to meet in a bar/pub so when they don't show ( we worked out we had about a 90% no show rate) up we can carry on and have night on the town aswell ? even managed to pick up a rather nice younger male after a no show and Mrs4 had a great time even broke our bed so it wasn't a wasted night but you get idiots etc etc where ever you go though ?  |

Isn't this just a reflection on life in general? It's just more obvious in here because of the goldfish bowl effect.
Just be more selective who you chat to, do better due diligence ahead of meets, and grow a thicker skin...
Standard life advice isn't it? |

I've had nothing but good experiences from this site.
It doesnt help that they meant remarkable mot unremarkable.
I'm suggesting there are lovely, remarkable women that can be a nightmare. I enjoy the company of these women amongst other personality types.
But my overall point is that any person can sit in multiple buckets, it's not black and white.

Yep it's a self reinforcing loop, lots of idiot guys, treat more guys as idiots, result in more idiot guys. Which is more frustrating for couples and women. |
