You ho to someone's house. They have a door bell, a letter box to tap or a door to knock on. How do you let them know your at the door and you can only choose one of those options. Not blowing a foghorn |

You could charge it/replace batteries or the classic - cover it with a bit of tape and add it to the same to do list as - unpack final moving box which is still under the stairs after 10 years…. |

Doorbell. That’s what it’s there for.
Plus I find dodgy salespeople tend to knock on the door because they think the Ring camera won’t be recording them if they don’t use it.
Obviously it’s motion-sensor operated. |

Yes, he gets paid to come and ask me if I want to go for a walk as social services think I should go out more. I just make excuses, but.ive half committed myself to going for one on Tuesday.but only if he rings the bell lol |

I use whatever is on the door of the house I'm visiting.
People coming here tend to knock. I don't have a push-button bell. I have a handle that when pulled down operates a series of wire ropes and levers and rings a real bell suspended near the hallway ceiling. I think they're confused by not being able to press a button! |
