"I'm aging like a classic that's been fairly well looked after but there's no mistaking the vintage
I just looked at your profile I can safely say your doing something right. "
Thanks
I follow a very strict routine of coffee and cake on a daily basis |

Ageing better, look different to twenty years ago and have more confidence (but not overly) I think that’s more attractive. I have no sense of entitlement in my older years and treat everyone the way I want to be treated. So ageing well inside and out I think |

"Generally doing ok, I put a lot of effort into keeping my skin looking as good as it can given the reduction in collagen production - K"
There was an interesting Radio 4 programme about collagen supplements on at 12:30 today. Sliced Bread I think it was called. |

"Are you ageing well like a fine wine or like milk lumpy and sour"
On the inside, sublime, like a fine mellow vintage.
On the outside, dishy but gently used, like a slightly squishy sugar-dusted mallow.

I will have a read/listen but I haven’t consumed any collagen supplements. It is more the microneedling and laser treatments which are intended to force the body into making more collagen (of course that only really helps the areas I injure so perhaps supplements would be the way to go) |

I think it's one of those things where you need to make your own mind up .

I envy all the youthful vitality I see around me on the tube.
I look at my reflection in the window, yes, the curved glass gives a certain hall of mirrors effect and my face looks like a bag of spanners, a caricature of myself, what the fuck happened!
Alas time waits for no one my friend.
As my station approaches,I snap out of my cogitation,I couldn’t resist sketching a cock and balls in the moisture on the door set before alighting.
Never too old 😊 |

I probably won’t bother with supplements- though I have often wondered how oriental Asians manage to look eternally youthful and concluded it was due to diet with lots of collagen being consumed in their bone broths. I’m more likely to give that a bloody good go!

I have used topical collagen creams, gels, masks, serums and been underwhelmed. Short term it feels nice but it doesn’t last. I’m a huge fan of micro needling and laser though - it is my favourite treat to myself!
It is hard to see con’s skin (at 23) and not notice the difference. Put me around other 40 odd year olds and my skin looks nice and plump and bouncy and I feel alright about my ageing. |

"I'm am being dragged kicking and screaming into my 30s. I didn't consent to this!"
Please don't put 30s in a thread about ageing. It's cruel. Already dealing with the fact I'm aged out of being a younger woman. 🥲 |

At least you still have the cougar route! Once I'm aged out for the cougars, I'm finished! Ruined! |

Erm no, you switcheroo and become a silver fox. Go for the younger woman. Refer to them as females.
You've got such a bright future ahead of you. 🩷 |

Micro needling is something I'd consider. I think at nearly 70 it might not be worth bothering though |

I love it so much because it feels restful. I feel just as good from microneedling as when I have a massage. I have persuaded myself that I need another session asap! |

I’m not one to blow my own trumpet, but it seems like I’m getting better with age. I could barely get a female to speak to me 20 years ago.
They speak to me know but still nothing more. Hopefully in another 20 years I might get to touch one |
