I mean don't get me wrong its not the be all and end all I do like a guy who is tall but if I liked someone shorter I would meet them and have done...but what really pisses me off is the men that lie about their height as that happens a lot.
But I do always check out someone's height if the profile catches my eye. |

It's just my preference. It just doesn't work for me. We've met guys the same height as me where I've been slightly taller in shoes, which isn't a problem. But no to an obvious height difference for me. |

Being tall is mostly advantageous on here but it's not the be all end all - I've seen guys that are only 5'6" with lots of verifications and guys 6' plus with none. If being tall is your only positive, it likely won't help much. |

Well it's not something I can change, so I cant let it worry me.
Back at school and probably into 20s in certain job roles it was something I thought about. But dad was 5ft10 and mum 5ft and half inch, so im glad I went above midway.
Fitness and healthy lifestyle i can do something about. |

Height isn't something I ever really check on profiles because its not that importantto me. Some men seem to feel like they need to mention it in introductory messages, so it obviously matters to some people. |

I once had a boyfriend who was shorter than me, many years ago. When he used to hold my hand in public, it used to make me feel self conscious. Felt more like crossing your little brother across a road than a boyfriend. I think that's always stuck with me 🙈🙈🙈 |

There's a few things I can't change. My height and skin tone are two.
Both seem to be barriers to some on here, but I'm not that bothered.
My first wife was 5'11" and my second was 5'. I enjoyed being the taller, rarely does that happen in all walks of my life being the height I am.
I have no issue being the shorter in any situation as there is sweet FA I can do about it...
Given the choice - I'd happily be 6'+ - but I'm not blessed with such options...
I use what I've got to my advantage and see no point in misleading people about it. Same as my age...
I dislike liars, so endeavour to never be one.

I think this is something guys say so as not to put off a potential shag. A bit like guys saying they don't have a preference body wise.

I would say that I prefer a woman who isn't taller than me, and I'm 6ft so there aren't many around. But same height or smaller is fine. |

Not always. I genuinely don't care. I'm always the big spoon. We are all different. Some people have preferences for body type or race or certain size for private parts. Some people have a preference for personality, connection, character, chemistry. The wonderful diversity of the human experience. |

I've been 5 foot 8 since I was about 12/13 years old and it was always commented on by other so while I'm not insecure about it now I was. But as a result I only like female partners around my height or male partners alot taller than me

I don’t care. I do glance it but it’s not an indicator of how tall a guy is at all. I don’t think a guy who is 5’11 exists, they tend to be around my my height and all guys who are 5’8/5’9 on here are an inch or two shorter than me at least. I never mention it. If I did I’m sure there would be demands to know my weight and body fat percentage. |

Yes, I like height/dress size weight ratio indicator as some camera angles tell a different story. We like to invest our time in those that are a mutual attraction. I prefer men taller than 5'9/10 as I'm 5'7" just personal preferences |

I only go for taller guys (min 5ft10 but ideally 6ft+) - short men just don’t do it for me. I’m only 5ft3 but like to feel tiny/overpowered and am definitely more submissive. Tall men have sense of power and dominance and I just don’t feel you get that from a short guy. It’s also why I’m not into skinny guys either. |

It doesn't really bother me. Sure, more petite women are great because only being 5'8", it does make me feel a bit more manly but I've also met or had sex with women my height or taller than me and it's never been an issue because we get on well. I do understand if women want a taller guy to make them feel more petite as well. |

I'm 5'8"-ish.
I tend to feel a bit odd if a potential partner is taller than me, but I also find it a wee bit uncomfortable with really short people.
Folk that are 5'0" and such.
I like it when my partner is about the same height as me. Just a touch shorter.
Tall enough to be to able to look me in the eye, but still be able to fit my arm around them without slouching  |

If I’m going on a social with a guy I prefer him to be 5’11” + as I’m 5’6” and with heels I’m 5’10”-5’11 and I’d prefer not to be looking down at him .
