What things did you eat when you were younger that would give a nutritionist a panic attack?
Me
Bacongrill
Pork dripping on bread
Westles tinned hamburgers in gravy
Ketchup butties
Also when hungover a whole Sarah Lee chocolate gateau for breakfast |

"Most of what I eat now would still give them a heart attack haha
As a kid we ate proper home made chips from a chip pan almost every night of the week, it was the norm for everyone round here"
Oh chips done in dripping |

Fried cheese toasties.
Doorstop bread with proper butter
Eggs fried in lard
Proper chips
Though as awful as they all sound I did spend a lot of time outside playing. And spent most of my weekend in the Ballet studio |

"Stanners!
You must be my kin.
Add to your burgers n bacon ..... tinned hotdogs and Fray Bentos pies AND Vesta chow mein and Findus Crispy Pancakes...... and the list goes on n on n on."
All of the above, plus tinned beans and sausages. Crispy pancakes were dangerously hot on that first bite but we never learned lol |

'London Grill' - no idea if only sold in London, but Heinz baked beans with sausages, bacon and kidney! Breakfast in a tin.
Another fan of a Frey Bentos steak and kidney here too...how on earth pastry was soggy and crispy at the same time I'll never know, but so good! |

Deal done. I'm "treating" myself next time I'm in Sainsbury's. But will I kill my childhood nostalgia?!? |

"I still have Frey Bentos S and K pies.
Can’t seem to get the puddings anymore at my local shops
Is that the tin ones? I remember having a few long time ago as a student
Yes that’s them "
Actually I did not think they were that bad |

Golden syrup by the spoon.
Condensed milk by the spoon.
Tower of eggy bread.
An entire tray of hash brownies because I got the munchies but forgot they were hash brownies.
Tiger bread covered in proper butter dipped in gravy.
All of the super noodles getting me through college years.

When I was a student Aldi used to do stewed beef in a can that must have been at least 50% pure fat. I know this because if you opened the can and warmed it whilst the contents were still in the can at least half of the contents became liquid fat that you could use to fry some onions and eggs in before chucking the meat chunks in with some baked beans to make a cheap hash.
Anyway...sometimes when I was hungry and didn't have enough electricity to heat anything up I would devour this crap cold straight out of the can. Being hungry it actually tasted quite good but I dread to think what it would do to my cholesterol levels now. |

Stanners ! Thought of you today when I longed for cheesey wafers that we used to get out of the machine when we'd been swimming ....
The pool doesn't do naughty snacks or drinks anymore I notice.....
How's your cheesey balls ? Oil and cheese power ...... disgustin' but I love em. |

Ah vending machine snacks, happy memories, it was usually a wham bar or highland toffee as a post swim treat for me. Did love cheesy wotsits though |
