To plan your dinner or tea or whatever you want to call it. Days in advance. Like one day, you'll have steaks and tomorrow you'll make Spaghetti Bolognese etc. And day after etc etc.
Or do you just look what is in the freezer on the day and decide I'll just have this. |

No I decide on the day and go and buy the stuff, never understood people who do decide what they’re going to eat on Wednesday on a Friday, what if you don’t fancy chilli on Wednesday and you want pizza 🤷🏻♂️.

Yep! I do a full week's meal plan and shop for that weekly menu.
Sundays are batch cooking/food prep day, so I'll be replenishing the freezer with whatever I've used during the week before and making lunches for the working week - I'm at the gym every day after work and there's no way I'm going to cook when I get home, so something comes out of the freezer in the morning for dinner that night.
I simply top up fresh fruit and veg during the week. |

If I’m cooking something particularly complicated and need ingredients then absolutely yes it’s planned ahead, especially if I’m going to need an overnight marinade or a brine.
But for normal evening meals I’ll see what takes my fancy and go from there |

I guess because of stuff like HelloFresh. Some people can plan when they want. Instead of just off the bat deciding what to have |

No, I decide on the day, I don't like planning. |

A few days in advance. I prefer to mix up the types of food I have, so no repeats in a period of time. Unless it's a heated up bit of leftover Chinese takeaway on a Sunday morning, but that doesn't count. |

Living on my own I meal plan for the week and only buy what I need and budget for. I might swap what I'm having in the days between but I generally only buy fresh food I need for the meals I plan for the week, and keep a cupboard full of staples. |

I plan the protein for each meal during the week and then use whatever flavouring i fancy and veg/salad i have available 😊
Breakfasts and lunches are prepped in advance so i can take to the office
Weekends tend to be a little more flexible dependent on whether I have company 😁 |
