10 hours one artist? Couldn’t do it, I’m far too broad minded when it comes to music.
I couldn’t probably listen to one artist for about 2-4 hours ( depending on how many albums they have ) then turn it off and drive in silence for a bit.

First I wouldn't be on a 10 hour car journey. It would have to be three 3.33 hours over 3 days, staying in gourgeous hotels each night and stopping half way for refreshments. Then I would choose Gregory Porter to listen to, singing along to the great joy of my fellow passengers 😝 |

How about an artist who has reinvented themselves over time?
Joe Jackson albums are very different, or I could start with Queen's more recent Poppier albums and work back through their pompous magnificent to when they started as a rock band. Loads of variety and some great songs. |

This a a good question OP! Its needs to be somebody with a pretty extensive catalogue to avoid repeats...but different "types" to keep it interesting. All fast and heavy and Ill end up losing my licence..hmm..
I think someone above said Queen. Hard to fault that choice. Fleetwood Mac would be a solid one too. |

Toughie...
The Jam, or maybe Madness or maybe Red Hot Chills, Arcade Fire or The Pogues
It would be a tough choice, depending on where I was driving to for 10 hrs and even who with, i'd potentially listen to Planxty or The Dubliners too 🫣

"I would break up the various music artists (because I would get fed up of the same artist or band) with an audio book. We listen to Terry Pratchett books when driving together.

Not sure i could do that. Vimes, Rincewind etc all have a distinct voice in my head and hearing someone elses take of them wouldnt work for me ! |

Yeah you do get used to a narrator and then it changes, which can be slightly off putting. But most of them get the great characters spot on
