City wise, I love York and Bath.
Cambridge and Oxford too for different reasons .
Location specific I love Northumberland - Craster, Warkworth, Amble, Beadnell Bay.
I also love St Ives in Cornwall.
So many beautiful places in the UK |

Where I live, a semi rural village with decent cities/towns half hour drive away, the river, the safety, the schools and the fact I’m giving my kids the best start in life, the old stone houses, the wildlife ( we have otters in the river ), the scenery, the fact I don’t have to drive through a concrete jungle to get to my house.

Once you get out of Glasgow, anywhere up the A82.
Also when you reach Fort William, as well as continuing up the Caledonian Canal to Inverness, branch off to either Mallaig or head further North West up that entire coastline.

"Northumberland . The whole coastal strip from Amble up to Berwick is particularly beautiful
East Lothian coast , Ayrshire coast and Fife coast."
Thats exactly why I chose to work on a farm around that area... its stunning! Especially on a day where the suns out. |

"Am I allowed Jersey? It is part of the uk and my favourite place in the world.

Guernsey, dear fellow. The crumpet isn't half bad there either. 🩶"
Neither of them are actually in the UK technically but they are Crown Dependecies.
One of them is my family home and as far as my variety of crumpet is concerned, not a very fruitful source. |

West Wales and Cardiff |
Totally biased, but Cymru/Wales in all its myriad and quixotic forms is my favourite area (well, almost all of them).
Eryri (Snowdonia) is my favourite, with the wilds of Mid Wales close behind - a great mix of of landscape, culture, history and language.
There’s lots of other lovely areas of the UK, of course . |
