Beach holiday or pool side holiday...

Which type of person are you?

I'm definitely one for a nice pool...I hateeee sand on my body.

Discuss.

Beach for me.

Depends on the context. Where I am, who I'm with. Chilling on a beach with friends or a loved one is good. Family or solo poolside is also good.

I am not a massive fan of sand but I’ll happily lay on a lounger.

Love a nice pebble beach rather than a sandy one

Happy to sit next to the pool all day with a sunshade and a book

Can I be that annoying person? Always a hotel with a pool, by the beach. I like both!

Like a mix of both, if it’s windy and your getting sand blasted then poolside (or nude terrace).

I love both if I’m honest. The sea feels more relaxed but the hotel always has a vibe where I stay 😂

Beach and pool are kind of the same type of holiday though, aren't they. Sand being the only difference and unless you're Darth Vader that shouldn't matter.

I enjoy both but I do like to venture out and do some site seeing really like historical buildings and the history of the palace I'm visiting

Sand feels so good under my feet, but the problem is it decides to stay there.

Fun fact: A while ago I saved a mans life by pulling him out of the sea in Ibiza... then he went ahead and put some socks on straight on top of his sandy feet 🤢 I wanted to push him back in the water.

Pool for me. Nothing worse then getting sand in places you didn't think possible

Ah I love the beach especially if it’s got a nice cocktail bar nearby

But equally I don’t mind being around the pool

It can all depend who I’m in holiday with as to which I prefer or do

Resort stuff is nice when you need a break, but my favourite type is the roaming moochie sort.

-Talking to locals and seeing their facial expression change when they hear my alien voice

"Can I be that annoying person? Always a hotel with a pool, by the beach. I like both!"

This!!

I prefer poolside for general sunbathing, but I do like a walk on the beach and a swim in the sea. It really depends on the kind of holiday I’m on, as I tend to prefer wandering about rather than sat doing nothing

I have to say I’m a bit of both, I love the beaches around corralejo and El Cotillo and tend to end up at one or the other as you can be nude. I also like the pool as long as I can be nude. Did my first cruise last year which was a lot of fun so have booked the big nude boat for 2027. I suppose as long as I can go nude I’m happy

Tonypandy.

Beach, but only because it's connected to the sea, which is the part that interests me.

Really not a 'lie on the beach' person.

Pool is nice if it's hot and you haven't got access to the sea.

Neither, we like to explore culture. Don't go on holidays to be lazy.

But in Corfu last year the pool was preferable to the sea and the nibbling fish they have.

Neither - exploring culture, nature or being active. More than two days on a sun lounger does my head in!

Pool side holiday for me please. Somewhere bright & warm, with a poolside waiter to bring me vodka slushy & a big strong man go carry me back to the room + take advantage of me😈

I think that's all

I get bored with pools so beach. But then every day at a beach wouldn't be my idea of great holiday either.

Back in Surrey, Dahlings!

I like looking at the beach and possibly being on it a bit haha but I prefer a gorgeous pool, though I never spend too long by it. Maximum an hour or so.

I am a get out and explore person through and through. I’d die in a 2-week holiday locked in an all inclusive resort. My idea of hell.

We holiday in PDI. It’s the best of every kind of holiday. Sun, sea, sand and a shed load of sex. Doesn’t matter about the weather either.
