Just wondering if anyone else has a secret code word for leaving a bad social/meet?
When we first started, we agreed to use one. One of us would ask the other randomly if we'd put the bins out? Which is code for 'do you like them?'..if whichever one of answered no, it meant let's make our excuses and get the fook out of there!!
Occasionally, we would switch it up and ask the other one if they'd fed the cats 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
So do you have a code word/sentence?

When i first started going to clubs with my then partner, I'd ask my partner if she'd like a drink. It would give her the chance to end the conversation and we could escape to the bar or wherever. If she liked them, she would reply she was ok at the moment.
So kind of a code, at the time, it worked for us.

I love Bin Day, I would offer to go and put your bins out if you'd said you'd forgotten. Even Armstrong and Miller have a sketch with an orgy, where part way through he remembers bin day, dons a delicate dressing gown and chases down the road after the bin lorry.
Missing bin day is traumatic - so no way would I be upset if you suddenly left because of that excuse!  |

We talk about it on the way but then I know anyway within a few mins anyway.
We tend to speak to people a bit before we meet for a social anyway.
Well we do now, ever since we met a guy once quite fast, due to us having nothing on that day. We picked an ice cream place and we could see the car park and a guy got out of his car and I knew from the coat he was wearing it was going to be a no 😬
