or inaccuracies on a profile.
Like non-smoker but has a cig after a few drinks/sex. Location. Age (2+ years difference) etc.
Are you happy to overlook any? Are there any that are big no-nos? |

That's why I have smoker on my profile I don't always smoke but now and then when drinking i do 
For me if it's simple things that people lie about it always makes me wonder why and would have me thinking most of what they say could be bull. |

I've met a lot of people who do have a cig or two after a drink and they put non-smoker. Some even go as far as to have won't meet smokers. Oddly respect that you've got smoker down. :D

Just checked mine.
Age/location/tattoos/piercings....all a little inaccurate.
I don't take much notice of what's written anyway so I'm not fussed if someone's bio isn't 100% true |

My location is wrong (but in the right vicinity) my age is wrong (my birthday is listed as the right year and month but wrong day) My name is listed is not my real name (but real close) but for the most part I don't mind small things. But once it gets into full on deceit that's a different story! |

Yes, location is one where you'd expect people to not be too accurate, happily overlook it. Especially for women - it would be unwise to have exact location.

Oh the whole, I'm not really fussed as long as it's not something obvious: they purport to having a quinny but they in fact have a phallus.
I pay more notice in conversations - being more mindful of inconsistencies, red flags and contradictions. |

I don’t meet married/attached people. Amount of ones who have messaged, yes they were honest and told me they were married/attached when I asked. Just put it on the profile.  |

Probably, it’s in their clothes, their car, their home, almost impossible to eradicate.
Smokers think they can but non smokers can most often tell immediately.
The sheer arrogance of so many smokers is often their downfall. |

The reasons behind the fib I hadn't considered. Yeah, that would be something I wouldn't appreciate. A year is fine. Three? Maybe a little lie. Five plus and it's obvious and also kind of sad. |

I think the biggest lies on here, particularly amongst male profiles, are height, age and sexuality. Most that claim to be "straight" are actually Fab straight.
It's quite funny when they forget they lied on their age bit and they start a forum thread along the lines that they "look good for their age". And keep being adamant, when people point out the discrepancy, that they did not lie on their profile. |

I prefer honesty but I'll overlook certain things that might be inaccurate. Location I expect to be off, age depends on if they look like their pics ha.

Little differences we expect, ours are 100% right.
We did meet a couple once just for a social and had exchanged names already etc. Arranged a date to meet for play and just before then fun started, said our actual names are this.... was a bit off putting but you know, we still carried on  |

Not disclosing isn't great but them being honest when you've asked is a good thing in a way. It'd be nice if it was an option, a way to filter out people. |

The ‘I’m not a smoker, I vape’ people are annoying as to me it’s the same thing. You should still tick smoker (although I’d say that’s a flaw of the site).
In fact vapers are probably worse as they vape every 10 seconds, inside, in bars, concerts.
We went for a social with a couple who were non smokers but spent most of the evening in a cloud of cherry 😱

For me, it depends why they've changed their age or written non smoker. If it's to deceive people and get more meets, nah that's crappy behaviour.
I do look for inconsistencies on profiles tbh, I prefer non smokers as I have asthma.
My age is out by about a month, makes me older than I am. That's cos I don't want my real dob on here obvs.Its not to trick anyone, I am 51.
I think if you still have a few cigs after a night out, you're a social smoker and that should maybe added to the profile.
I've seen people say non smoker, whilst adding pics with fags in their hands or mouths.
I've also seen men say I'm not 48 I'm 65, why have you changed your age by 17 years then?!.
I guess what I'm staying is, it depends on the intention of the little lie. |

I don't do lies. I could've very easily have put 45 on my profile. Photos of somebody much younger, with smaller breasts and a tighter body. I'd rather show it how it is. And if I'm meeting someone we always do verification on video calls. |

A big no is anyone who doesn't disclose they are on here behind someone's back. I'm clear on my profile I don't want to meet anyone that's cheating, yet I've had people chat to me, I've asked and they've said single, then it's been shown later that they aren't.
Be honest, give people the choice to meet you or not, based on the truth. |

Small lies to protect your identity, location etc, I get. What I do not like are those that lie to get around people's filters and preferences, hoping that when they come clean all will be forgiven. This deceitfulness is deplorable in my book. |

Got to love it when 2 people telling the lies don’t keep each other informed of the lies their telling,
So one of them say the truth to their friends and lie to everyone else’s, whilst the other defends them with the lie, who has no idea that the cat is already out of the bag
