"No. I don't like the taste of it."

Perhaps I've never had a quality slice of Black Pudding, something more authentic or made in the traditional sense, as opposed to something made with poor quality ingredients or just mass produced fodder. |

I hated the thought of it because of what its made with but tried it once on holiday and it was bloody lovely never looked back. Ive had it battered with apple sauce which was amazing but heartattack food |

Love it.
Becky won’t try it.
Proper black pudding is the key.
Or, the French equivalent, boudin noir makes a nice change occasionally, bit softer and more crumbly.
Black pudding complements poached egg so well. |

The thing I find most frustrating is when someone tells me adamantly that they won’t eat it because they think it’s all pigs blood…
Then they order a steak rare and insist on it being ’bloody’…!! 🙄

"If I don't think about it I can manage to enjoy two mouthfuls before my head tells me just how grim it is and it's not happening

This sounds like our last date. "
Well I was trying to spare your feelings by not saying it publicly, I thought this might be a good alternative 🤷♀️ |

It’s a constant source of shame that as a proud Black Country Mon, I don’t like black pudding.
I buck a lot of stereotypes, I’m Irish/Jamaican and I don’t like Guinness.
And yes, I have had Guinness in Ireland, it’s marginally better but I’d still rather have a bottle of Budweiser |
