Lemmy, and a bit later Richie James of Manic Street Preachers. Richie’s lyrical intelligence is still an inspiration.

I used to want to be Thurston Moore from Sonic Youth, partially because he was an amazing guitarist in an incredibly cool band, partially because he was married to Kim Gordon

Jackie Chan, Arnie and Jim Carey. I loved anything those three guys were in. People used to liken me and how I was to Jim Carey a lot when I was younger and I loved that

I had a few heroes.

Roald Dahl I met.

Athletics was Steve Ovett. He was the rough alternative to mr squeaky clean Coe.

Football Kenny Dalglish. Greatest player I ever saw live

Musician. Lennon.

Not too sure. I gravitated towards funny people. Jim Carrey, Robin Williams, Eddie Murphy. Their films had an impact on me growing up, amongst many others.

I wouldn't describe anybody as an idol. My hero, for want of a better word, was the pianist Bruce Hornsby. Luke
