Is it worth it

I’ve noticed that I’m a bit of a thread stopper.
Maybe I don’t have as much charisma as I thought, maybe I’m just boring I don’t know.
But I’m not sure I can put any more effort into something that has very little by way of reward.
I’m not saying that I should be centre of attention for everyone, I get I’m relatively new here, but some days it’s like I’m posting to a private message board.
It’s like standing in a room and offering an opinion on the subject and everyone leaves the room for |

It happens to me too. As I’ve said previously (and someone is probably wishing they had a Glowupdoll fridge magnet because of this) - I assume they are reflecting on my words, perhaps making life changes because of them.

I'm a Champions League thread killer but who cares? I always get home late from work, catching up with Fab after midnight, replying to messages 14 hours later, saying “Im In” when everybody has already left. Don't take it personally, it's just bad timing. At least that is what I chose to believe 😘 |

8 years here and that is exactly what happens to me. 
Doesn’t stop me from posting though. But I never start threads for that reason.
The forum is a minimal part of my Fab experience, so it doesn’t affect me really. |

Not everyone quotes a reply and continues the thought.
Just continue as you are and post a bit of humour or filth here and there and you'll be fine. |

It's nice being quoted and discussing a topic of interest but I also fear it too as I'm not quick witted.
I usually shoot for humour or offer a point of view in statement format n leave. You'll rarely see me being sexy |

Sometimes you feel like tapping the microphone 🎤 “is this thing on?!” but It happens to most of us at some point. Unless you’re young, super hot, hilarious, you do tend to get overlooked in the forums.
But you know what, we need more than 5 people to keep the forums afloat, so just carry on doing your thing!

Don't get disheartened mate it takes time there are a lot of times I feel ignored its just the way it is but I do feel that I am getting more accepted and there are some that do go out of their way to be friendly to everyone. As an older man there are a lot of younger formites that just dont have a lot in common with me.
I would say never give up I have recently made a very special and very sexy friend if I can do it then anyone can. |

I set myself up for an attack of the clones the other day. I survived (not without wounds though) but I just keep posting to laugh or try to make others do (can’t say I succeed at that).
English isn’t my first language either!

I post what i want and make myself laugh along the way. If someone jumps on great if they dont ive still given myself a chuckle.
If i was at a party or in a public place not everyone would be having a conversation with me they would gravitate to who they wanted to i look at it like that. |

If everyone got a reply to a thread they posted on, they would fill up pretty quickly.
Even though no one has interacted with your contribution, there will be someone who stops to read it.
Keep posting what you want and you'll eventually make connections with people. |

Is it just me or have there been a lot of posts recently from men disgruntled with the site? People need to lighten up and just enjoy the craic or if the experience is not what they hoped for, or is getting them down and affecting their mental health, just take a break. |

At least half of my threads crash and burn. Loads of factors involved for example:
No interest in the subject content
Folk are sick of me and my ramblings
There aren’t many people browsing the forums
Other more fun threads are keeping folk occupied
TT has just opened an extra large tub of unsalted butter
Try not to take it personally OP keep on being you and posting what you want to post. |

Is the "Craic" evasion of censorship or how some people pronounce a break in a stone slab?

Maybe it’s because I’m so active on social media and used to hundreds of responses to posts and quite a few from my own replies that this feels slow in comparison to.
I probably just need to get used to a slower pace. |

I don't mind if I'm the last to post in a thread or a post gets no replies.
I don't reply to every post on threads I start and sometimes I'm talking utter crap. Maybe if I was making a real effort to interact with lots of people and then getting nothing back, that would be disheartening. I'm not though.
You still get attention OP. Most posters do. |

I still kill threads I've been doing it on and off for years so don't worry it won't be anything to do with your opinion just maybe those that have posted go offline then thw thread gets carried away to another page just keep posting if you enjoy doing it |
