I regret not having the courage to tell a person how much I loved them when I was in my teens. At the time I was just too shy and lacked life experience. In the passing years our lives went in very different directions and she eventually moved to Australia. I'm now 60 and regret not expressing my true feelings years ago. Life is definitly too short... Grasp every opportunity when it arises, you might not get a second chance. |

Hindsight is a double edged sword. Yes there are things that looking back I would have done differently, but equally all of life is a learning journey that’s makes us who we are now. So had I done things differently I may not be the same person I am now🤷♂️
Life is challenging enough in the here and now without overanalysing the past and finding new things to beat ourselves up about, especially as we can’t change any of it. |

I always say I have no regrets…. But in reality, inside my own thoughts I have loads, should never have settled down to early, consequently losing everything to girl who turned out to be a vile narcissist, then getting married to my now ex wife, I have know idea what I was thinking, it was obvious we were totally different people, again lost everything !
That’s just two regrets, I won’t get going in on the rest ! Lol |

I wouldn’t say regrets, just periods of life learning. You can say that I wish I had done that or didn’t do that but it’s all part of life. By doing or doing things makes you the person you are now. |

Not following my instinct when my Ex asked me to 2 , I love her so much & miss her everyday. Neither of us have been with anyone since, we still txt a lot & both tell each other “ love you “. I’ve recently made her grandkids the beneficiary of my will & give them money every month, so least I know those 2 young people will never have a mortgage which gives me a nice warmth. |
